The Door in the Wall

A child goes through a door and plays in a paradisical world for an afternoon. The door appears for him again at various times through his life, but he always has some reason for not going through it — the fear of ridicule, the pressure of work and so on. I think it shows the spiritual side of H.G. Wells.
